non-polish - TPR passenger cars

: Temat postu: TPR passenger cars
Starting from August 2013 I've started making passenger cars that resemble in a proportion or other from different countries, like Romania,Czech Republic,Germany,Poland,Slovakia, cars manufactured by DWA,Halberstadt,Gorlitz or Bautzen.

Currently I've done cars from CFR,DB,Alex-Arriva,CD,CSD,ZSR,ZSSK and PKP and tried to do them as diverse as possible(dirty, new, etc) and as real as possible.

I will not post every single car that I already made here because they are too many,so if you want to look at the cars that are finished, have a look on my site at http://trainzpremiumroute...al-content.html

Now I'm making some historical PKP IC cars that I will present them here.
Two cars are allready done, 21-70 Bdmnu number 091 and 097 :

Next will the the green-crem versions and red-crem of the Bdmnu and the Admnu, both IC and non-IC versions,so stay close.

Also,I'm working on the CFR 21-70 modernised car,all remains is the interior :

If you have any objection, suggestion or ideas, please post them.I'm trying to make the cars as they were back in their days,so any help is welcome. Also,I need some documentation about how the 21-70 Bdmnu interior was when it left the producer, the original interior. All I know is that it was brown, nothing more.

I hope that you like what I presented.

Cheers !

Have a good day !

It's hard to say. Today these cars are after modernization, but then in 90s most of us were too young to remember or had no money to go by InterCity train. Also I have never seen any photo of these cars interior.

Groch in his former massage mentioned about wrong size of "bump cover" (don't know exact name) on both heads. Should be little smaller, compare it with KilanZiom's cars.

Probably there will be an update containing that modification.I forgot about the bump ends, sorry.

So here are the 3 cars completed with minor modifications to the existing interiors(window curtains) and an original interior for the non modernised 21-70(I hope that it is as near as possibile as it was back in those days) :

Next I will do the green-crem 21-70 cars.
kilanziom - 12-01-2014, 00:30
:
I'd say the colors are correct, which is one of the most important things with historical paintschemes :)
Generally - 12-01-2014, 00:31
:
I think that the logo in interior is too new for that era.
iubitzel29 - 12-01-2014, 00:50
:
@kilanziom : Thank you :-)
@SimonGR : What logo in what interior?
Generally - 12-01-2014, 01:06
:
The PKP IC logo in interiors of cars #2 and #3.
iubitzel29 - 12-01-2014, 01:24
:
I've found a photo of a car identical to number 2 in a Polish train publication(Swiat kolei) taken in 2003 and a friend told me PKP Intercity was founded in 2001.

Also,a photo of the number 3 interior was taken in 2003 :

http://swr.podkarpackakol...mg/bdmnu-in.jpg

The description of the photo is that it was a unique colour of the seats,so the main colour I think was the "standard" green IC one(car number 2).
Generally - 12-01-2014, 01:48
:
I was not sure if this logo already was or not, but if it is in the picture then I have no doubt.
iubitzel29 - 12-01-2014, 02:04
:
I'm glad then if I didn't do mistakes on the interior(hard enough for me to do foreign cars, historic cars are even harder)

21-70 070-9 Bdmnu :

The interior is the same as 092-3.

Next : dark green 21-70 Bdmnu Gorlitz90.
iubitzel29 - 12-01-2014, 14:57
:
Another one : 21-70 020-5 Bdmnu Gorlitz90

kilanziom - 14-01-2014, 09:13
:
The Goerlitz90 coach seem to have the apropriate paintscheme. The Bautzen91 cas should probably be a little more 'fair green' then 'olive green':

http://www.railfaneurope....am/PKP_B_DH.jpg

+generally they were 'preety smooth' when new, it was a rare sight to see one very dirty or in slightly weathered condition.
iubitzel29 - 14-01-2014, 22:12
:
The B91's colour has been repaired.

About the weathering : I make the cars according to the photos from Swiat kolei. If number 21-70 020 is photographed dirty,I make it dirty,if it's fresh,I make it fresh ;-)
iubitzel29 - 22-01-2014, 01:21
:
PKP 21-70 005-5 in the original paint scheme :

Thank you Kilanziom for the help !
iubitzel29 - 22-01-2014, 18:27
:
PKP 21-90 042-8 Bdmnu "Lajkonik" :

iubitzel29 - 23-01-2014, 00:42
:
The last 21-70 : number 024-9

Next : 19-70 Admnu cars.
edek83 - 23-01-2014, 17:46
:
This is good... very good. I hope you will issue then soon.
iubitzel29 - 23-01-2014, 21:32
:
Thank you edek83.

Maybe they will be release this weekend, but next week they will be 100% released,so stay tuned!

PKP 19-70 218-8 :

kilanziom - 26-01-2014, 00:17
:
The colors seem ok. Maybe the yellow stripe should be a little bit higher (approx 1/3), but that's a small detail and it was rather individual in most situations.
iubitzel29 - 26-01-2014, 00:19
:
19-70 215-0 :

@Kilanziom : from the photos I saw that the yellow stripe was half of the distance between the window and the roof.Thank you !
iubitzel29 - 26-01-2014, 02:48
:
The third and last 19-70,number 220-4 :

Tomorrow the cars will be put on the site !
